Letter book with proceedings of council meetings A letter book kept by John Brant during his time serving as resident superintendent of the Six Nations of the Grand River. In it, he recorded outgoing correspondence as well as proceedings of general councils of the Six Nations. James Winnett recorded council proceedings in the letter book following Brant's death for the years 1833 and 1834. The letter book contains an index.
